TRUTH IN THE YOUTH

Today the youth continue to impact and energize our church. In fact, more than half of Adventists worldwide are between the ages of 16 and 40. We nurture and empower our young members to take active roles in our church so God's work will continue reaping.

The church works for and with its youth through the Adventist Youth Society AYS. Under the Adventist Youth Society Leader, the youth are to work together in development of a strong youth ministry that includes; spiritual, mental, and physical development of each individual, Christian social interaction, and an active witnessing program that supports the general soul-winning plans of the church. The goal of AYS is to involve all youth in activities that will tie them closer to the church and train them for Christian service.

ADVENTIST BELIEFS

Seventh-day Adventist beliefs are meant to permeate your whole life. Growing out of scriptures that paint a compelling portrait of God, you are invited to explore, experience and know the One who desires to make us whole.

We accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura; the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.

We currently hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories: the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life and last day events. In each teaching, God is the architect, who in wisdom, grace and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
